Pastel Vases

Found this sweet pink ice bucket at the thrift store yesterday.
It's chipped, but I still love it.
I mean how often do you see a big pink ice bucket?
Perfect for the last of my pink hydrangeas.
No point leaving them outdoors to freeze.
 So pretty.
This vase looks good even without flowers.
 One of my favorite colors.
Thanks for looking.
Take care.

Fall Flea Market Finds

I love Flea Markets in the Fall. We start out early Sunday morning when the air is crisp and cool. Armed with coffee and our picker bags, we're out the door by 7a.m.
The grass is still wet with dew as we make our way through the field, where row after row of cars are already parked. This is our favorite thing to do on the 3rd Sunday of each month from May thru October.

It didn't take long for me to find a few things that I just couldn't live without.

The flea markets here in Pennsylvania will be coming to a close soon.
I'll miss the thrill of the hunt over the long winter months.

Thanks for stopping in!

Heavens To Betsy

What a funny saying.
Heavens to Betsy
It doesn't have anything to do with anything.
Just like these onions.
The last of my onions from the garden.
 A little Blooming Kale.
 Not sure what this is.
 I just love these Hydrangeas.
RED
 Sweet Pink Hydrangeas.
 Creeping.
 A cluster.
Clean up of trees downed in summer storms.
 Under the Mulberry Tree.
 Drooping.

A Trip To Yarnick's Farm Market

Every Fall, Mother and I make a trip to Yarnick's Farm Market.
 We love the giant chicken.
We picked out some beautiful apples and a few other goodies as well.
Like a raspberry pie that was absolutely awesome.
I love the herb and lettuce greenhouse room.

We are always delighted to see the goats that graze along the edge of the road on our way there.

It's a fun little tradition that Mother and I have, to visit certain special places together each Fall.
It makes me happy to see Mother smiling.

Happy Fall

Finding Beauty

Yesterdays walk was so therapeutic.

Jack and I ventured out again this evening.

Looking for bits of blooms left behind by Summer.

There's beauty everywhere if you take the time to look for it.

In Need Of Some Nature

Well, after a completely awful day in Pittsburgh, dealing with Mother's medical issues and insurance mix ups, I was so ready for a walk with the dog. Along the way we picked up a few interesting things to share with you.
Walking in nature always helps to put things back into perspective after a bad day.
 Calming.
It's so good to be back home and out of the city.
Hope your day was a good one.
