Loosely needle felted.

 Speckled in gold thread.

 Fuzzy

 Cotton candy stitches.

My word for 2015 is IMAGINE.

 I never imagined I'd be spinning my own yarn.

Carded wool with bits of silk. 

 Imagining what I can create with this.

I imagined some beads made from Anita's pink hair.

 I will string them and hang them from her photo.

 A lid cover made from a my hand spun wool and silk yarn.

 I trimmed it in some really beautiful locks that I bought here.

Roses and Pink Ironstone

I'd never seen a tie dyed rose before.

 Found it in our local grocery store's floral dept.

 Pink ironstone.

 Love this pink ceramic spoon!

Pastel Vases

Found this sweet pink ice bucket at the thrift store yesterday.

 It's chipped, but I still love it.

 I mean how often do you see a big pink ice bucket?

 Perfect for the last of my pink hydrangeas.

 No point leaving them outdoors to freeze.

 So pretty.

 This vase looks good even without flowers.

 One of my favorite colors.

Finding Beauty

Yesterdays walk was so therapeutic.

Jack and I ventured out again this evening.

 Looking for bits of blooms left behind by Summer.

There's beauty everywhere if you take the time to look for it.

Flea Market Decor

My flea market treasures

   make a lovely romantic space.

 Vintage floral containers are a pretty solution for storage.

 Pillows made from vintage bark cloth add softness and comfort to my space.

 A little chippy shabbiness in my space makes me happy.

 Tattered millinery flowers are always one of my favorite finds.

A scarf like the ones Grandma wore draped across an old lamp softens the light and adds to the comfort  factor.

 A basket filled with vintage hats is a nice pop of color in a corner of my space.

 Candles are a must here.
