A Visit From Mr. Bear and Some Flea Market finds

Mr. Bear was right outside my kitchen door a few days ago.
It's been a long time since I saw him last and I was a little startled to see him so close to the house.
Not very good photos. By the time I found my camera he was almost out of sight.
I must say that it was nice to see him again, although I wouldn't want him to visit often.

Braved the heat on Sunday and went to the Flea Market with my man.
After all, it was Father's Day, so I thought I would do my best to get through it.
Picked up a few pieces of pottery while I was there. A sweet shaker for my kelp granules.
The yellow bowl is my favorite. I don't see yellow pots very often.
Couldn't pass up this pretty brass trinket box either.

Complain Less Breathe More

Been keeping to myself mostly with this goal in mind.
Appreciating simple things.
Growing tea.

Gone Herbal

Drying

Sniffing
 Just enjoying...
Everything Herbs
A couple of the little "Mud Men" who live among the herbs.
A basket inspired by the camomile that I just planted.
The wool was dyed and hand spun by me.

A Small Bunch Of Lavender

Not much energy to keep up with my gardening this year, but the lavender is doing well despite the neglect.
It grows right next to my porch and I had to gather a bunch for drying.
Such a soft, beautiful fragrance.
Another type of lavender growing in a pot on the porch.
 Feels like summer.

Sweet Summer Day

Life keeps happening and it's rare that I even think about reaching for my camera.
Today was one of those rare times.
Sharing my love of fiber art with a sweet young lady who may someday do the same.
Passing along what my Grandma Anna taught me.
Sophia with her hook and yarn
Corn on the cob for dinner.
Homemade lip gloss.
What a great day with my best friend and her lovely granddaughter.
Just a sweet summer day.
