I'm taking a snow day today.
I started by sleeping in and now I'm watching "ellen".
Jack and I are inside looking out as the snow is piling up.
I fed the birds first thing this morning.
When the feeder is empty they show up on the porch to let me know.
Since the snow is making it more difficult for the deer to find food, they too check the bird feeder every day.
I've been considering making a trip to the feed mill for some corn.
This is the mama deer…
and these are her babies.
They're eating all my trees and shrubs.
Aren't they beautiful?
When the snow stops and the roads are cleared I'll be making that trip to the feed mill.
I think it's going to be less expensive than replacing all my trees.
Karen
Good on you :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Miz Karen Ann! How wonderful to have the deer to watch. I hope the snow is not to much of a burden, so many are held up by it right now. I wasn't sure how much you got or are still getting. I hope the sun shines up there today.
ReplyDeleteLOve You!

Dear Karen, oh, you have deer coming in your garden! How lovely is that!!! Even if they eat all your trees, they are so lovely - and you are such a awsome person you let them do.
ReplyDeleteWonderful.
Have a happy time and hope it will stop snowing
Elisabeth
