Midsummer Herbs

The herbs are blooming in my gardens.
I grabbed some photos of a few of them while I was watering this evening.
Dill & Bee Balm.

  1. I can see why the bees are so attracted to that bee balm. The color is pulling me in, too. I'm loving the creativity of the chair back as garden ornament - for how many seasons will it last there?

  2. We have volunteer dill plants from when I first planted five years ago. I love finding them tucked amongst the weeds.

Is that a clearwing moth at your bee balm?

Do you eat the lilies? I grow those specifically for eating. We had some buds sauteed with dinner last night. They're one of our faves.
