Last week I needed a card to send to a friend and I made a bunch with my stampers and ink.

Gardening

This is the beginning of my gardening for 2010. Anita and Brian sent me an Aero Garden for my birthday and the basil is growing the quickest.

Jamie's 30th Birthday

It's hard to believe that 30 years have gone by since my daughter was born. Like all moms, I can still remember every detail about that day, just like it was yesterday.

Found Treasures

Tom and I went treasure hunting yesterday. The first place we went to was like the t.v. show "Pickers". There was so much to see and you had to dig to find things. The prices were great and it was a lot of fun. I found a hand painted bowl from Hong Kong and a little green ceramic planter with cherry blossoms. They were a steal at only $1.00 each.

The next place was an antique mall. The prices weren't as good as the first place, but still not bad. I found a pair of grey wool spats, a gallon of antique buttons in the coolest glass jar, a ceramic hand, a ceramic bird, a fabric woven bowl and a bunch of button sets. It took hours to walk through the place, but it was well worth it.

It was a quality day for Tom and I. We talked a lot and stoppd to have lunch together. We even had a few laughs. We need more days like this one.

Hurry Up Spring

Bought my herb seeds yesterday. As soon as the snow melts I will plant some and put them on the windowsill.

Walking the Dog

Yesterday was an especially difficult day for me. Andrea came to visit and provided me with distractions from my pain and self pity. We ate dinner and walked Jack. When we got back Jack was so muddy! Andrea gave him a bath and we spent some crafting time in my studio. Jamie made some polymer clay eyes for a monster I'm making and Andrea made labels with my sewing machine. I started a shadow box. Got through another day. This afternoon I am meeting a friend in Dubois to do some more walking. Jack can't go this time.

A Healing Place

I am trying to make a healing environment. A place that makes me feel peaceful.

Positive Energy

What a glorious day. The sun is shining and I can feel Spring in the air. I am grateful for this day, my friends and my family. There is so much positive energy all around me. I will not be sad today.
