Otis

Otis is one of the little owls I made last winter. I was inspired to make owls by the big owl that lived in my backyard. I would listen to him hoot hoot every evening just as evening was approaching and well into the night. I haven't heard Otis since the big hollow tree was washed away in a storm.

This is another black and gold item that I'm working on. It's a long, thick hand crocheted scarf in the colors of Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. It was my mom's idea to make some accessories in the Pittsburgh colors.

I found these great t shirts at the thrift store for 29 cents each. I washed them, cut them apart and made this interesting scarf. I think I'll make some for my etsy shop.

Herbs In

I brought the Herbs in from the deck last week. I don't know what to do with them. They are pretty large. One is lavender and one is rosemary.
